Managed Services

Challege: A midsized outsourcing firm was seeking to optimize their human resources function. Current staffing levels were insufficient to manage demand of fulltime equivalents AND flex during demand for third-party staff augmentation. Additionally, there were opportunities to reduce third-party billing and invoicing complexities.

Patriot Solution: We designed and implemented a managed services solution that automated the approval, requisition and sourcing process for temporary contractors. Although this process is managed by Procurement, we instantiated a governance model to ensure alignment with each departments' strategic objectives.

Technical Staffing

Challenge: A large multinational systems integrator required 20 technicians in 10 states to migrate desktop systems to the latest version of Windows. The project had aggressive timelines AND budget.

Patriot Solution: Our team located and prequalified 25 premier, certified technicians eager to engage with our client's project management team. With little supervision our techs performed the refresh on time and on budget.

Consulting

Challenge: A giant US retailer required two quality assurance analysts for a project in Brazil. In addition to the technical requirements, the resources were required to speak Spanish and Portuguese.

Patriot Solution: Patriot recruiters located, hired and arranged transportation and temporary housing for the consultants to complete the six month assignment in Sao Paulo.

Thomas Loffredo, Principal

Patriot Staffing & Services is led by Thomas Loffredo, who has over 20 years of combined management, consulting and military experience. Prior to founding Patriot, Thomas was Director, Contingent Labor & Professional Services (CL/PS) for Johnson & Johnson's Information Management Strategic Sourcing organization. He was responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies for information technology services across the enterprise.

Of particular note, he directed a cross-departmental team with the responsibility to identify alternatives for contracting temporary labor. Under his leadership, the Johnson & Johnson Services Inc., Professional Resources Online (JJPRO) Program Management Office was formed. The program was deployed on a global level and recognized by InfoWorld as one of the top 100 innovative projects in the nation.

Prior to joining J&J, Thomas was an IT consultant to pharmaceutical, banking and engineering firms in the greater New York area.

The experiences gained during his many years as a project director and technical lead, and understanding the complexity of information technology skill sets, is critical to the success of Patriot Staffing & Services today. Thomas is committed to providing clients with seasoned professionals in their category of expertise, on time and within budget.

His passion and pride for the military are reflected in the company name, Patriot; Thomas served our country as a U.S. Army Signal Officer. He is a graduate of Siena and Manhattan Colleges, earning degrees in Engineering, Mathematics and a number of technical certifications including ITIL and Six Sigma methodology. Thomas enjoys giving back to his community as a volunteer and catechist at St Francis Cathedral in Metuchen, NJ.

Anthony (Tony) J. LoBello Jr., Operations, Infrastructure, and Service and Delivery Director

After graduating Fordham University, Anthony has served the staffing industry in practically all capacities (sales, operations, finance, etc.), encompassing all lines of business (traditional staffing, master-vendor, recruitment process outsourcing, and managed services programs) industry verticals and skill families (admin/clerical, IT, engineering, healthcare, creative services, banking operations, and finance and accounting).

Tony supported small and large staffing companies from multi-office regional firms to global providers such as Manpower and FutureStep. Many Fortune 500 companies and tier consultancy firms have engaged Tony to help reduce unit labor cost without experiencing a rise in negative turnover rate, guard against and mitigate financial and employment risk, as well as provide independent benchmarking studies. Over the last 20 years, Tony's expertise was sought by some of the largest consumers of staffing services in the world to interpret US Wage and Hours rules, employment status, and sales tax code.

Tony enjoys identifying and implementing "lean" ways to advance his own and client-organizations' goals without impairing controls and sharing his experience and insight in face-to-face sessions with his prospects, client, and colleagues.

Although born and raised in the New York City area, Tony resides in the Atlanta suburbs and is involved in several faith-based and secular charities. Tony is an avid woodturner, guitar player, and enjoys time with his family and dogs. Tony is New York State licensed CPA.
